Corvair Convertible Announcement Ad

NOW THE TOP GOES DOWN. Finally a convertible for Corvair. Ray Clark did the copy and I loved the honest straight forward nature of the statement. I tried to make the layout just as honest and straight forward too. The headline became more than a statement-- it was part of the graphic. A fun way to make ads. It proves that it isn't always necessary to go on location or spend a lot of Chevrolets money to get across an important message. I owned a 1963 Corvair Monza Spyder Convertible. It was a fantastic car. I don't know for sure how fast it would go because the only time I decided to find out I chickened at about 98mph. And to this day I think Ralph Nader was full of you know what.
