'64 Chevrolet Trade and Travel Time Promotion
JET SMOOTH LUXURY CHEVROLET---MAKES ROADS FEEL AS SMOOTH AS THE MAPS THEY'RE PRINTED ON. Another fine example of the two perspective illustration method used to show Chevy products on very dramatic roads. The idea is described in some detail on other ads in this series. Two-color ads in newspapers was a fairly new thing and Chevrolet used it in nearly every ad. At the time color in newspapers was not all that common and some papers didn't offer it. All Chevy ads were re-sized to fit the individual markets. An art director named Ed Thomas did most of that.
