EVERYTHING THAT MAKES CORVAIR FUN TO DRIVE IS BACK.[with big new engines, to boot ]. Copy by Ray Clark. I wish I was sure who did the art for this. Jim Hastings was the head art guy at Campbell-Ewald and he developed the newspaper art technique we used. Back then newspapers didn't hold the register very well so we had a black plate done in line that dominated the picture. Then if it got a little out of register during the press run it still looked pretty good. Jack Mills may have done the art but then it could have been any one of about seven others. I think this ad holds up pretty well after all these years. It is simple and to the point-not a bunch of other stuff to make it for no reason.
