'58 Chevrolet Impala Convertible Newspaper Ad

GOING GREAT AND FOR GOOD REASONS!  '58 Chevy.  All the good reasons are shown below the car illustration. Even a picture of the Corvette. Air Ride got a boost here too with a picture of a pretty young lady floating on air. A very nice way of getting attention for something as mechanical as that. The art director for this was probably George Guido. At the time he was responsible for newspaper ads. Something you will see often in Chevy ad illustrations from this period  is shown here. You know the car is really moving because it is being used as a camera car and is filming the stage coach and indian chasing the coach. In other ads the car is often shown near another moving thing like a train or plane. A way to give a sense of action to an illustration. Thanks Jim Hastings
