'64 Chevrolet Trade and Travel Time Promotion

FRISKY AS IT CAN BE...FINE A BUY AS YOU CAN GET [ IF YOU BUY NOW! ] This Chevelle Wagon ad is a good example of the kind of visual drama that could be achieved with two different perspectives in the same picture. If you follow the perspective on the car there is no way the situation could exist in reality. But then, this is advertising reality. The road behind the car at the bottom of the hill has a different perspective. Artists did this with great effect. We tried it with photography and it worked but not quite as well as with art. I am not sure about the artist but it may have been Jim Jackson or Charley Shridde. The airplane with its shadow on the water ads to the feeling of the steep hill the Chevy is climbing.
