SMOOTHS BUMPS BETTER THAN A BULLDOZER. I liked this a bunch. Jet- Smooth Ride had been used in Chevy ads for some time and I saw an opportunity to use our line treatment on the road to make a strong visual statement. A bump that would be, not just on the road but continue on through the headline and body copy and even through the sign off. We didn't have color for this newspaper ad but with a visual this strong we didn't need it. Sorry but I don't remember who did the art and I think maybe David E. Davis Jr. did the copy. Too bad this didn't run as a magazine ad so you collectors could have one.
